The Intrepid fought in World War II and the Vietnam War, is now a National Monument.

The museum opened in 1982 and he visitor can see interactive displays, historical recreations, flight simulators, or take a tour inside of a submarine.

It is divided into four zones, the Flight Deck, where you can see planes; Cover Gallery, where is the Combat Information Center; Hangar and Third Deck where the kitchen and docking areas are located.
